This has got to be one sick joke. Frogger Inferno can’t be a real game for iPhone and iPod Touch users. Wait just a bloody second…shit it is real! There is a game called Frogger Inferno and Konami wants me to spend 99 cents on it!

What do you think could make Frogger a better game? Anybody want to answer that one? I’m sure there are a lot of ways to make the original Frogger better but why would Konami add one thing and put it out to download for 99 cents? Sure the price might be nice but this is Frogger with fucking fire!

The game has updated graphics that we have seen before so no cool kid points yet. What Konami did add was a few minor updates. Inferno has tap, tilt, and swipe controls. Tap controls work around 75% of the time, but that is a much better improvement from the first Frogger that was release on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Those swipe controls work the best and almost make things better. But then the tilt controls come into play. These controls are pointless and will cause you to use your warranty on your Apple Device sooner than you thought. Oh it is playable with the tilt controls but I think I wanted to blow my brains out using this method of gameplay.

Konami knows what is trendy too when it comes to Frogger Inferno. You can update your scores through Facebook. That way everybody knows you bought Inferno and then they also know when you are quote “playing the game” or as I would like to say giving yourself a headache.

Final Verdict
I honestly think Konami should have taken the original Frogger on the iPhone and iPod Touch and released updates for it. That way someone like me wouldn’t go on a huge rant on how stupid Frogger Inferno is. Let the fans feel special; let them vote on new updates, not release stupid shot like this.
