So many individuals, big and small developers are making applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch. But when you are spending between 99 cents to 14.99 per game you can’t help but look at the All-in-1 Gamebox application. For 99 cents you get 26 games and a promised “more to come” message before you buy this cheap game.

At 99 cents how can you pass this one up? There are many games out there that do cost this amount but 99 cents for 26 games? Use your finger and click on purchase and install because All-in-1 Gamebox is a cheap-ass gamers dream come true.

There are some pretty crappy games in here though so don’t expect to find 26 fantastic games. There are a whole lot of games to choose from, some that stand out the most are Hired Gun and Ancient War. I would have paid 4.99 for Ancient War alone so the price tag is outstanding and I will never stop saying this.

Some of the not so great titles will piss you off like no other. iUFO Catcher for example is a crane game that has you picking up cute animals for points. Could have been fun but as you progress in the game is seems like the crane doesn’t want to listen to your finger touches. Same goes for Climber, a title that has you climbing up a tower.

The list can go on actually with titles that don’t want to respond to well with your finger touches. iKungFu Master is a basic beat’em up that never lets you get the upper hand. What I mean by this is when you move towards your enemy you have a 95% change of them getting the first hit. All you can do is move left or right and tap the button to attack. You get to upgrade your weapons but who gives a shit when you are struggling at the start of the game?

Most of the games music in here ranges from classic era sounds to some revamped new style music that is comparable to bigger budget downloadable games. I had no problem with any of the music since it got the job done. Could it have been better? Of course, but at 99 cents why should I complain too much?

Same goes with the games graphics. All of the titles range in their style from basic bold looking stick figures to a rip-off looking Wii Sports Resort archer game. I would say what I have normally been saying so I will just let you imagine what my next sentence would have been.

Final Verdict
For 99 cents you can either take a risk and buy a random game for your iPhone or iPod Touch or you can buy All-in-1 Gamebox and get 26 games (more to come). It is pretty safe to say this is one of the better purchases you can make on the App Store right now.
