Buzz Bites: Chocolate Energy Chews

What would you do if I said there was a chocolate chew that
packed the same energy level as a cup of coffee? You’d probably
think I’m insane, but since I am writing this review you know I
got something to tell you. This kind of thing does exist and
guess what it tastes pretty darn good.
Just like the Foosh Energy Mints the Buzz Bites pack the same
amount of caffeine. If you were to take two Tootsie Rolls and
formed them into a square you would get the size and shape of
one Buzz Bite. These things are serious, one of these chocolate
chews equals one cup of coffee!
When I got these things in the mail I was as existed as a little
kid eating all his Halloween candy in one sitting. Without
thinking too hard I hurried up and opened one of these bad boys.
After about three minutes I felt sick. These chocolate chews
have the same energy taste as the Foosh Mints. What happened to
the chocolate-ness?
 Even though the taste wasn’t that great with my first chocolate
chew I decided not to give up. As I was ready to try another one
I got a rush of energy. Just like that my eyes were wide open,
one of these chocolate chews seemed to have given me more energy
than any energy product I’ve had before.
A normal person would most likely stop after one but since I am
not normal I ate another one. Something strange happened because
all of the sudden these chocolate chews started to taste pretty
good. They started to remind me of Tootsie Rolls, those little
chews that seem to be in every bank across the world. So far
these chocolate chews are getting better every time I have
another. Can this great taste last or will tomorrow bring
something completely different?
I decided to actually wait two more days before I tried another
chocolate chew. After staying up all night I felt it was best to
take a break. When I did try another chew the taste was still
the same. Either you need to get use to the taste or something
in your body tells you to enjoy these chocolate chews because
they give you a lot of energy. Whatever it is I love it!
Buzz Bites come in a nice tin too. Instead of getting twelve
mints like the Foosh Mints you get six. Remember though these
are chocolate chews, not mints. Each chew is wrapped in a silver
wrapping so you don’t have to worry about these things melting
any time soon.
Now the final part for all those health buffs out there that
watch their calorie intake. Buzz Bites contain twenty five
calories and one gram of fat per piece. Everything else is
pretty much the same when compared to the Foosh Mints. Remember
the serving size is one chocolate chew, but if you are like me
you will end up having two. Thankfully this shouldn’t hurt your
New Years Resolution in loosing weight.
Final Verdict
I got to say when I first had one Buzz Bite I was dissatisfied.
The taste was unbearable, but the amount of energy I received
after one was tremendous. Since I am an energy-aholic I had
another one. Little by little these things start to taste pretty
good, so good that I had to hide them so I wouldn’t eat them all
within a few days. The price seems to be right and only getting
six Buzz Biters per package is fine by me. With the amount of
energy you get in one of these chocolate chews I’d have to say
Yippie-kay-yay…let’s just end it with that shall we?
